These portraits started with me not knowing the other person. That is why I call it: "Random meetings with strangers." I ask a person who crosses my path on the street, or in my gym if I can portray him or her. The specific person draws my attention - sometimes we just have one conversation. We are basically strangers to each other, but we do make an appointment to meetup again in a specific location in the streets of Amsterdam.
